I'm already noticing that lots of colour seems to be on-trend for this spring and because I am already a bit bored with Winter style I wanted something bright, playful and powerful.

I haven't tried the maximalism trend before now and I always love playing with new prints and styles. I thought this dress looked like a little nod to GUCCI so I had to pick it up and try my hand at styling it. I think pairing it with these boots was ideal because the boots still look very A/W so it still keeps the outfit looking transitional. I hadn't seen sock boots in burgundy before, I can't wait to mix them with more S/S outfits, I think it will give them an interesting edge.
